2010 Passports

We now have 2010 Heart of Iowa Passports available for sale. If you bought the 2009 Passport, bring it in to get a discount on the new 2010 Passport. This Passport is different than previous ones. We can advertise it as ‘bigger’ and ‘better’ because it is! Each winery has decided what gift, discount, or special treat it will give to each Passport holder when you visit that winery. You’ll receive some wonderful items and discounts with the new 2010 Passport. The cost is only $25 and would make a great gift!

Facility Rental

If you would like to make an appointment to discuss booking the winery for your special event, call us and we’ll set up an appointment. A large banquet room with a dance floor is available for weddings, anniversaries, or private parties any day of the week.

Weddings & Receptions

We know that planning for a special event, especially a wedding and/or reception, requires a special place. Snus Hill is located in the rural and scenic countryside of Iowa with large trees and expansive views.

To honor this magical day in your life, we invite you to celebrate at Snus Hill in the special atmosphere we offer with a memorable wedding for you and your guests. Your wedding can be located under large shade trees covering a beautiful green lawn. Our outdoor bandstand, affectionately nicknamed the Chicken Coop, is situated on the lawn area for maximum visibility for guests if you desire to have your ceremony there and has a large concrete area in front of it which is perfect for dancing under the stars. The 58' by 39' banquet hall can accommodate up to 180 people. There's a large dance floor and a band alcove with an additional 9'8" X 20'6." It also contains facilities for caterers. The grounds can accommodate larger groups.

Other Events

Snus Hill can provide a wonderful place to celebrate anniversaries, birthday parties or any other event you may with. For Saturday events from May 1 through the end of September, the fee is the same as for a wedding and/or reception. For other times of the year, call for prices.
