Updating you and yours of our new normal

Soak It Up

Bands will resume on May 31!

The Governor has allowed us to reopen under certain restrictions, and we are doing our best to keep our customers and staff safe. Please bear with us as we implement a few changes to the regular processes at Snus.

Here are three of the changes you need to know:

Due to Covid concerns, all live music will be held outside.

Unfortunately, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will be cancelling the live music that day.

You will notice a few other changes as well. There will be ‘Social Circles” (spaced 6 ft. apart) on the lawn for customer safety. Our bocce ball court and children’s area will be closed temporarily. And, as much as it pains us, the dance floor will be closed for the safety of the bands.

“There is nothing stopping you from dancing like crazy in those little circles of fun!”

We also ask that masks be worn inside the winery, and all of our guests will be treated to delightful reminders of what a 6 foot distance looks like at the counter and in the restrooms. The decks around the winery will have limited seating and a limited number of chairs will be available for use so, throw in one of those folders sitting in the corner of the garage!)

Bring your own glassware if you insist on drinking from something other than plastic, or purchase one of the logo wine glasses from the tasting room.

WE HOPE THESE ARE ONLY TEMPORARY CHANGES

We have patiently waited for the State of Iowa to allow us to resume our normal business activities and your cooperation will help insure that those beautiful weekend concerts will continue throughout the summer! If you have special questions or a topic is not covered in this brief update feel free to email us at chris@snushillwine.com or call the winery 515.795.3535 and we’ll do our best to provide an answer. Or make something up 🙂
